There is another flaw inherent with the 1911 series of pistols that could, and has resulted in numerous deaths since its inception...



























































...basically, if you own one and don't have one in your mitts when the SHTF, you are very likely to die!

my 45 actually put the last nail in my 25 year old Lee turret press, now I have to get new reloading equipment, darn 1911.

unless it's a cracked base, dig out the parts manual and replace what's needed- unless you WANT to go progressive- the only thing i found i had replace on a regular basis was the ratchet drive-3/1.50- when i went to the 1000 even that went away- just had the finicky priming system
