unitizing m14 gas system

good day fellas,

can anyone tell me what i need to unitize my gas system? i'm a welder by trade so tigging isn't a problem. taking a barrel or rifle into work would be. gas system is ambiguous, i think?

The trick is to get the flash suppresser off then the gas cylinder and ferrule come right off. The standard spots for a dot of weld are 2, 6 and 10 o'clock.
