So Im getting ready for my second archery season with my bow, and just as last year in archery class, so this year I find that I just purly hate shooting with sights:(

I cant really shoot as well with the sights as I can without, and that also includes the first shot

what gives?

its an old composit browning made bow, about 80lb pull, with a classic target post sights

its not pretty but I like it, specially the pull. Ive been considering gettin a new sight for it but like I said, I foud out last year that I just hate shooting wiht sites

I only did 10 hrs on a recurve without sights, I tried them but took them off just as soon, I cant belive how hard its prooving to learn to shoot with them:(, and Im not talking about grouping

maybe the bow needs tuning, or I need a better sights

I learned to shoot with a bullet point arrowhead, I havnt tried the broad head yet, and I anticipate some difference there

has anyone had any experience with the Tent City, from Toronto? the guy has a small shop and I wouldnt mind paying for someone to have a look at the bow, but its a bit of a drive for me

A good set of sited and a pepe site on the string work really well. My boys lernt very fast and are pritty good now with there componds mine is a 20 year old browning and it works great. it is 65 pounds and at that waght brings down elk moose bear and deer. 80 pounds are you trying to use it for body biulding?

:D no not really, I got it of a guy that was into copetitive shooting and the bow was too stiff for him, its not a problem for me though I got to admit that the 25lb bow I used in the archery class was a pleasure to shoot.

well looks like Im going to TCO to have it looked at, will see what they think
