the price is right but does it shoot tight at 100 yds

I recommend you try a search of this forum. You'll find plenty of information to suggest that the Stevens 200 is a very accurate rifle for the money.

Very accurate rifle. All you need to add is paint to make them look good.

They are horribly good in value and shoot like pretty well. They don't cost much so it's a good tinkering gun.

Boringly accurate. What fun is a rifle that you don't have to tinker with loads for?

My .223 slightly modified 'yote gun shoots under 1" at 300 yds. Dollar for dollar, if you can get over the lack of cosmetics and concentrate on accuracy and value, there is no better buy.
