Load Data For IMR 5010 ???

Hello, I was hoping to find someone with load data for IMR 5010 Powder. I've tried every website possible because it is discontinued it is impossible to find any info. So all I can do is rely on the experiences of others, Please Help , Thanks

There's one unproven load on reloadersnest using a 700 grain bullet. Add the W's.

I would suggest phoning Hodgdon co.

I spoke to them yesterday & they were extremely helpful. Since they own IMR they may have what you need.

It's:

- slower than Retumbo;
- about the same as H870; and
- faster than H50BMG.

So you could safely use Retumbo loads (and a bit more), use H870 loads, or use less than for H50BMG.

205 gr's of 5010 pushing a 650 gr Ball bullet seated to the cannalure can put em all in 1 hole at 100 if you can.
Great load, i'm finding the 5010 scarce now too and i'm having to experiment with other powders now. US869 works well, i've found H50BMG to be remarkably punishing, a very sharp recoil.
