Oooh, very nice! I was never a J frame fan myself until I picked up a Model 36 earlier this year--they're great little revolvers. How do you like those grips? They look a bit more comfortable than the extra small ones you often find on J frames

I find that standard velocity .38 is fine as far as recoil is concerned in an all-steel J Frame--it's more comfortable to me than in an aluminum-framed Model 12 K frame.

I am jealous... Let me know when you hit the range so I can accidentally show up and beg you to try it out ;)

Nice Model 60 BTW!

I have a Model 36 [Chief's special] and a 37 [airweight].... I find the compact Pachmayrs work great on them. Especially, if shooting the occasional +P outta the Model 36....

Back in the day when I was a tadpole. I remember drooling over the 36's and 37's in the display cases at the Army and Navy in downtown Vancouver. The 60 is nice!! Threads like this really make me want to bang my head against a hard surface because I took a hiatus from shooting during the 'critical' years and lost my rights to own these beauties. :bangHead:
