Does anyone use a sling with their Tapco T6 stock? If so, what style are you using? I have a tactical sling that I was using with my C7A1 at work that I would like to use with my SKS but I'm not sure how to modify the straps to attach to the collapsible butt.

I do have a T6 on a SKS but no, sorry, no sling. Never know when I need to throw it.

Come to think of it, would a sling locking up my left arm actually improve accuracy or am I in fact better off throwing my SKS at my target. Damn, if only Elite Team Fighter was here to help me with these difficult questions.

My question is where did you get a tapco stock in Canada???

I want one badly!!!!

Picked it up from SKSman.com. Shipping was reasonable too. I've taken it out a couple of times now and am very satisfied with the quality. I find the butt just as sturdy as the collapsible butt on the C7A2 which is the only other firearm with this type of butt that I have experience with.

I use a three point sling on my Tapco T6 SKS-D. Here's a pic of it with scope.

I mostly use it without a scope though as the SKS does best at short distances.

Here's a pic with just iron sights.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Xman, that is basically the same type of sling that I want to modify for use on my SKS but I was trying to attach it to the butt itself. I will have to try attaching it like you have and see how that works.

I would like to add a red dot sight to the rear cover. Are there any Canadian dealers who sell the cover with weaver type rail?
