Last week we placed our first Stocking order with Bushmaster Firearms.

We have Varminter, Predator, DCM Competition, V-Match and Carbon-15s

22Lr top ends, lowers uppers, etc.

We're going to have to wait for the US Export permit, so arrival will probably be around July / early August.

With the Canadian dollar being so strong against the US dollar, what do you expect the pricing will be?

Will we be seeing anything close to the pricing on the Bushmaster on-line store?

Sadly, no. :(

Bushmaster has some overhead on thier foreign shipments, they say, due to a lot of extra paperwork from US Department of State. (Boy, these guys are REALLY tough on the AR manufacturers and what they can export...)

Then there's the freight.

Initially, I expect SRP for a Varminter to be in the $1800 range, and A3 Carbon-15 carbines in the $1500 area. As always, dealers may sell for less...

Sean,

Are you talking about 22LR AR15 Uppers? :dancingbanana:
What make and what is your "guess-timated" price on the 22 LR uppers?:)

Nog2

Initially, the 22 uppers coming in are the Carbon 15 .22 Lr Rimfire Reciever / Barrel Assemblies - 16" barrel, 10 round magazines, Std. iron front sight, rear peep sight and rail.
Complete kit includes all pieces necessary to convert the rifle to .22 rimfire.

SRP - $712.

Nope, sorry.

When I enquired about ordering stuff like that, Bushmaster told me that the State Department will not issue export permits to them for Canada for 6-Position tele-stocks, M4 type anything, bayo lugs, flash suppressors, 20 or 30 round magazines anything shorter than 16”

All the carbines we have on order have the "tele-look-a-like" stock.

The last time I emailed the MagPul guys, they had not made any deal to licence out the .308 version to anyone else yet.
So it is not really valid to ask a Bushy importer to bring in the .308 Massoud yet.

Thanks Toot. I'm always open to questions, and I'll answer them to the best of my ability, but as you point out, there are other forces in play.
