I just got a call from TSE, the Knoxx Spec Ops has been installed on my Fabarm SDASS Trainer Nickel, but they will be unable to install ghost ring sights because there is no place to put the distant sight (because of the heat shield and, well, other reasons I frankly forget because it doesn't make a lot of sense to me).
Soooo, what are my options for a foresight-only based fast sighting system? This firearm is exclusively for bears in the backwoods, so it must be rugged and durable enough to see extreme weather and the shock of 3" slugs being ran through it in fast sequence. The gun is already tapped with two brass screw receptors for easy installation of whatever is decided to be best.
