What mags fit Para Ordnance PXT 1911 LTC

It's commander length. I need mags, not necessarily for super-cheap but don't want to be paying an arm and a leg. Where do you get yours? Any good deals out there?

p.s. Will commander sized grips not specifically made for this brand fit it? i.e. Colt Commander grips, etc.?

You could email Gunnar, he has a lot of experience with 1911's in 9mm, he'll at least know if STI and Colt mags will work with Paras. The only issues I can see would stem from the ramp configuration of the barrel. He'll probably have mags that will work, too.

Checking out Cobra mags but none of their mags are fit for Commander length only Government and Officer, should I assume that Government length mags will fit?

I never like to assume, I prefer to know for fact as my grandfather still says to this day; "When you assume, you make an ass out of you and me."

A Commander has a full sized 'lower' (with a slightly shorter dust cover and barrel bushing), properly speaking the barrel length is 4 1/2 inches (not shorter, that would be wrong). Have you tried Para's web site for mags, or Brownells.

Ideally I should be able to buy any grips or mags then?? That would be infinitely awesome to simply get those Wilson ETM mags.

In regards to Para brand mags, I looked on Paras pro shop website but can't find any of the mags like the ones that come with the PXT 1911 LTC. i.e. single stack nine round, 9mm magazines. I can only find eight round, single stack 9mm magazines.

Buy STI single stack 9mm mags, I interchanged them inbetween my Targetmaster and my Para LTC, they worked like a charm, put on some nice Houge grips or Pacmeyer, I have some at a reasonable price if you want them, Traded off my LTC recently
