A buddy told me about an Aimpoint he sold to soem guy. The guy wanted a refund because the dot was off the side and you could hardly see it. Yup, he had it on backwards.Looks like your Aimpoint is on backwards.

Aimpoint uses an high power LED not a laser to power it's scopes with..
most lasers like the ones on the EOTec are class II which are not dangerous to your eyes even during a direct exposure.
A laser illuminator IS dangerous as most are Class IIIb and are either IR or in some cases (rare) 523nM Green DPSS lasers which are 20-150mW. These lasers the 70-100mW range have the power to burn a hole in a piece of paper and or start a fire 1 m away.![]()
