9mm bullets

Since Excell is no more in the GTA. Does anyone know where I can get 9mm plated or jacked bullets from at a good price. I'm looking into buying the in box of 1000.

I bought about 2,500 bullets, and a scale, the shipping was $21.00 for 41 pounds. Reasonable. I since bought a tumbler, and will soon buy parts for my Lee 1000 and more bullets.
You should know that primers or powder will cost an extra $30.00 for special handling. Buy them locally.

I ordered primers through the mail for the first time the other day (not from Higginson's) and was surprised when I realized they didn't charge me a hazmat fee. They sent it UPS, cost 10 bucks and change...

Nobody HAS to charge a hazmat fee. They CHOOSE too.

I would've thought it's the carrier who charges a fee for transporting hazardous materials, and the retailer then charges the customer accordingly...

155km from Barrie, I don't think they have a website... And it's Hummason, I believe.

Of course the retailer will recoup any costs incurred. The carrier does not HAVE to charge a hazmat fee. Many do to cover someone's time to fill out the paperwork, but some do not. Usually the smaller local carriers.

Higginson's also has pretty good prices on the Hornady FMJ bulk bullets, too. I'm still debating which is better for ISPC ammo... CMJ Frontier or FMJ Hornady. Frontier are cheaper.

Frontier are a good choice for pistol. Many IPSC shooters use them. I have been using them for a few years now in my pistols, very consistant. Stay with Hornady FMJ's for the rifle though. Cheers

Hi all.. I recently bought 1000 rounds of Hornady 121 gr HAP bullets (that is Hornady Action Pistol) from Higginson and am very please with them. Load them with 5.5 grains of SR4756 with a COL or 1.135 inches. Good groups with bench rest.. still learning to shoot IPSC ... but I am impressed with them...
