I am in NE BC right now I have been elk hunting with a fellow CGNTZ member on a private ranch that he has permission to hunt.
I have never seen so many elk tracks in my life there are places where the tracks are so thick that you can't take a step without stepping on 3 or 4 tracks it is absolutely amazing.
Problem is we can't get the elk to respond to a bugle or an cow call.
The weather has been extremely warm and sunny.
We're heading back out Sunday morning to give it another try any suggestions that anyone has would be awesome.
