Patriot Arms 1000 yard target rifles

I think we've moved on to talking about building guns in pieces so regarding the guy with the 700 surrounded in luxury, i'd imagine his next move will be rebarreling that gun and then the circle will be complete. I'd probably do very much the same thing as he did with investing in good glass, personal preferences apply, he's likes the AI stock, again personal preference, and he's got an action that is easily upgradeable which is perfect.
I like to see people like this moving forward and still competing because he's testing the limits of his rifle by taking out the variables that a lot of times make accuracy an overwhelming journey.
 
I agree with EC, and just wanted to make clear, I am not here to piss any one off, but Jared J at Patriot arms does make a very good look and accurate rifle, meet him one, he sold several rifles up here, and I had a change to see his work. He also did many rifles for the USMC and US army, so I don't consider him mouth piece, he is very respected for what he done, and he have my respect and the respect of many other...

WTF does that have to do with anything aside from bringing something up that is a dead issue. I don't think any of us have a problem with Patriot nor do we have any lack of respect for the guy's work.

Oh, I Understand, But I don't know why you so frustrated over nothing, he make some of the most beautiful stuff, not just rifle but pistol also, hay I am just say it man, don't have to get piss off for nothing...

What brought this on, I was only stating my opinion. If you have nothing constructive to say thats relevant to the topic...who's the ignorant one here!
 
Time to step in here.

I know Jered personally and consider him one of my best friends.

He has built 3 custom guns for me. The first was a .338 Lapua which I had shipped up here from GA. Then I went down to his place and he made me my .300 WM and my .22-250. Which I carried down and carried back.

After my .338 was built I invited him up to AB for some deer hunting and told him I'd put him on a trophy animal. It's now hanging on his wall. He was nothing short of a true gentleman around my family and fit in instantly with my buddies (army guys) and was just a good sh!t to hang out with.

When he invited me down, not only was I treated like royalty, I got to experience true southern hospitality and met nothing but exceptional people who went out of their way to show me a GREAT time!!!!

Not only is Jered on a different level with his gun making skill, customer service and ability to be an outstanding person. His guns shoot unbelievably. And he does what a lot of companies don't do anymore (not all of them, but most) he stands behind his product and wait for this. He will actually TALK TO YOU AND RETURN YOUR CALLS IF NEEDED, AND NOT BLOW SMOKE UP YOUR @SS!!

My long winded point here is, I think that we should welcome Jered to this site. His knowledge is off the charts and his shooting skill level has to be seen to be believed.

"I" was the one who showed him this site when he was up here and instead of poking fun, "like I usually do at members who beak off" Jered was the bigger man who wanted to PM back and help out.

I think we are VERY fortunate to have him here. When he has time, which is never, he will always steer you in the right direction with his knowledge and experience. He doesn't need to advertise here. The man has an order list that looks like a stack of phone books. His product and his customers do all the advertising he needs plus!!!!!

So lets show him some Canadian hospitality and lets not get this thread locked because some of you are being pissy.

Enjoy the pics and if needed ask for some advise or an opinion. You will hard pressed to find someone of this caliber to talk to and get a reply.

If I offended anyone or hurt some feeling tough sh!t. If you knew me you'd know I stand behind my friends to the end.

To everyone else, thanks to being a true gun nut and enjoying what Jered has to offer.

I you are ever down around ED give me a shout and well see about getting you some stick time on a Patriot Arms bolt gun.

I don't believe that anyone has a problem with Jared or Patriot Arms. If they do, they voice their opinion, with the substantial evidence they have for that opinion. If they are shouted down for any reason that is great.
His pictures are appreciated, and I for one would encourage his presence, and more pictures.
Certain people are bloody opinionated hot-heads (I won't exclude myself) that enjoy picking fights where there aren't any, and should be ignored. Others English not good so.
The work and pieces that Jared shared were great, and the moderators have made it clear that he is GTG on the site as the outstanding issues have been tended to. Some of the posts that were made by people on this thread should have been PM's instead. Instead I believe a few may have round about insulted Jared and that is quite sad.
I want more of his eye-candy.:(
 
I personally think that if he has more pics, he should be sharing them because with a simple right click and 'save picture as' someone can get some good ideas of what looks good to them which is important for building a custom rifle. I hope he didn't take offense to anything and I doubt this thread will get locked down.

Holy s***! what is that first fish?
Look like there is enough meat there to feed my whole family for a month.
 
LOL, I was looking at the first picture and thought - WTF! Patriot is a Black dude... but he was a white guy in the first page as i scrolled down I saw you pop up, made me think of "Tropic Thunder". Great pics!
