I need some help with the value of some rifles I will be selling locally. I don't have much experience with hunting rifles and want to make sure I don't get ripped off.

If you have some experience in knowing values, but need more info let know.

Thanks if you can help

Show us the far end of the barrel and a top view of the action of the .303British which you mislabeled as the Husquvarna. It looks like a Lee Enfield No.4 "sporterised" but if the bore is good and none of the metal has been modified it might fetch a bit more than SuperCub suggests.

#1 Marlin D/U- look at what dealers are selling them for (non-DU) and ask the same. It seems these days Ducks Unlimited will put their name on anything. Is that rust on the barrel or bad lighting?

#2 Marlin- it appears to have a scratch on the side of the stock facing the camera ,and the barrel isn't shown. Ask 75-85% of new price and go from there.

#3 Browning BAR- looks like it's been well used (or is it the lighting?). I assume that it functions 100%? I have bought these for as little as $300 in better cosmetic condition, but fair market is in the $500 range, +/- in good mechanical/cosmetic condition. Expect to sit on this one, there is a love/hate thing for the BAR.

#4 77/22- Appears to be in good shape, with scope (4X VX?), ask $550.

#5 Lee Enfield #4 Mk l?- alot depends on what others have pointed out, if this is a "sporter", it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay. If it is in full military, no cut wood etc, then it could be $350-$450 depending on bore etc.

#6- Win 88 (Post 64)- in good condition, $500 is a fair price for the rifle, add a few dollars for the scope (depending on brand).

#7- Win 88 (Pre-64 cut checkering?)- well used like the BAR. Ask $500 with the mount and optics, but don't expect collector price from someone that knows these rifles.

#8 Husqvarna- like Woodbeef stated, $350-$400.

#9 Weatherby- is this 270 Win or 270 Weatherby? Big difference. I can't say anything to the value of this rifle, other than the scope is a value added item.

All of these "values" that I have quoted are just opinion and should be taken as such. Kind of hard to guess true value by one pic.

more details and photos

Thanks for all the input so far. I have provided a few more photos to help identify things a bit better.

All are in excellent working order. There is no rust on anything.

Your unknown pics are of a Lee-Enfield No4 Mk1 or 1/2. From the look of it,I'd say of English make.

Pics of gun #8 are definately a Husqvarna of the 1600 series. I'd say a 4000 lightweight. It looks to have seen many an opening day. The front sight must be loose too from the look of things. I'd have to re-think my price on this one to under the $350 range closer to $300 or so.

I agree with Woodbeef. Your unknown pics are of an Lee Enfield No4 Mk1 303 brit. It appears to have been sporterized for hunting. If it is in good shape you might get up to $150 for it. I Know this rifle well as do a lot of others. I have 3 of them. 1 sporterized, 1 original and one converted, rechambered and barrelled to a .308 precision target rifle.
