Just wanted to let everyone know that the have really cheap camo outerwear at Giant Tiger right now. I was at the circle drive location in saskatoon and they have a good selection ranging from 15 - 60 bucks for jackets, bunnyhugs, pants etc. I bought some there last year and couldn't be happier with it.

I live with a Saskatchewanianite (?) and I'll translate for you...

Bunnyhug= Hoodie

Vico= Chocolate milk

Interweb= the internet

Daylight savings time= (no translation available...screw it, just don't change the clock)

yup, no daylight savings time for them saskatchewan guys cus the extra hour of daylight will burn the crops all the sh#t!! who needs that.

yep we all have bunnyhugs, be careful when you wash the giant tiger stuff it shrinks right up. Any non-Saskawanian heard of a Quonset?

This could be the beginning of a pretty funny thread. Theres lots of stuff that us flatlanders do that might be interpretted as "not quite right" to others. I didn't even know bunnyhug was saskatchewan slang. I just thought thats what it was called. Anyone else have any examples of local dialect?

Yep, out here in Quebec we have these things. They are quite tall, covered in leaves with branches and a trunk. We call them TREES. Don't know if you've heard of them in Sk.....;)
