Just wondering if anyone has found any good deer sign yet?
I was out today bird hunting and found 2 rubs :). They look
at least a couple of days old because they are dry. I have pics
but I still haven't figured out the whole pic-posting thing. Bow
season opens on the 1st.:D

I found this where I'm going Wednesday. :)

I was out scouting in WMU 63A where I hunt, & I saw no sign of any scrapes or rubs yet. I did see about 15 deer including one nice 8 point. I have the feeling it's gonna be another great season :D.

I don't know if there's a season on back hoes.

It is always open season on back hoes. If you see one in the bush, shoot it fast. They tend to destroy the bush and chase away the game.:shotgun::D

I have noticed rubbings for a few weeks now. It is early for this type of activity but then again, the seasons are a little screwed up this year in the east.

Next week is the week boys. It all begins.

Be careful, be safe, stay warm and enjoy.:D

Happy hunting

Yup... I'm a LADY, but after 13 years of hunting, I do know the difference between rubs and scrapes!! I only spoke about rubs because the ground is still covered with very healthy ferns where I hunt. But thanks anyway!!

Sorry rickslady, my reading comprehension skills were lacking for a moment and I came across like an ass didn’t I.
I take it all back :)
Cheers and good luck

I have found a few scrapes and set up trail cams over them. Have got a couple buck pics and does investigating the scrapes. But not the numbers and sizes of bucks I was hoping for. I'll keep at it and hope I can post some good buck pics here later.
