Buying a handgun

Ok guys, I received my rPal by the mail 2-3 days ago. Funny thing is, I never ever received a call about this and neither my references. I might be considered a good citizen, who knows?

Anyway, I'm looking to buy a G17 new. As i'm noobish in this, I'd like you guys to explain me the required steps. I see it this way, but I lack the infos about specifics :

-Find the dealer and contact him
- Contact RCMP to get approved about this transaction
- Dealer gets paid + receive my rPal scan
- He contact RCMP and receive authorisation to send me my new friend.
- I receive it by mail, open it like a christmas gift and tears of joys roll
- Contact RCMP to confirm and register my friend
- Get the permit to go back and forth toward shooting club
- Repeat too many time and get a loan to consolidate debts

So am I right to some extent? What's the procedure to get the license? I tried to be humorous about this but I honestly don't have a clue.

And btw, who sells G17 new in canada that I can buy online, or at least get it shipped? I obviously would use the sponsors of this site but I looked around and didn't find G17, only G21+.
