I just received my new Remington 870 12g multi purpose cantlever 20" barrel this morning. It cam with an imp Cyl choke and a extended Remington Rifled Special Sabot choke.

Has anyone ever used this type of rifled choke and what worked best in them, rifled slugs or Sabots?

Tried one on my 11-87, with 5 different slugs could not hit broad side of a barn.

Went to cantilever know when I pull the trigger using 3 inch copper solid Remington slugs I just :).

There is a good chance that neither will work really well, but that tube is designed for sabots. I know of only one person who has had much success with the rifled tube. He cast his own slugs and loads them in a plastic cup wad. Said he got his slug cast and recipe from Lyman.
