Hey guys looking for a bit of help here. I just got a new mossberg 500 and I'm looking to set it up tactical style. I'm not having much luck finding a good supplier of tactical gear that'll ship to Canada. I've checked out some of the sites listed at the top of the screen here without too much luck. Marstar seems to be out of stock on just about everything and even then they don't offer too much for the mossberg 500, and what they do sell is only one brand. I'm looking for the usual stuff like pistol grip, heat sheild, ghost ring sights, forend, etc. Looking for a good site with good selection of brands and accessories that will ship to Canada. Any suggestions would be great. There's a lot of guys selling tactical shotguns on here so there must be some good knowledge on suppliers out there.

Also the other question I have is I cleaned all the grease off the outside of the new shotgun, but I'm noticing that grease is leaking out from inside the action through the screws on the outside of the action. It looks like there is a nice layer of grease inside there. Am I supposed to take the gun apart and wipe down all the parts inside the action before using the gun or is that intended to stay there ? Just wanna get some advice before I go screwing things up.

Cabelas has a fair selection for the mossberg 500. Go to Firearmscanada .com, then to gun dealers for canada`s dealers. I`ve found Ellwood Epps a very good store, good service. If they dont have it they`ll order it. If by "grease" you mean cosmoline or packing grease I would do a complete take down, clean and re oil all the parts, wipe with an oily patch and giver a good cleanin. Reassemble putting a little extra oil or lube on the bolt rails. The manual must tell how anyway, always read it. Cheers

That forend looks pretty cool...What are the rails on it for ? Is it to mount a flashlight on the forend ? What else could it be used for. I really like that AR15 stock you have for the 870 too, is there anything coming like that for a mossberg 500 with pistol grip as well.

yes rails are for flashlight and bottom rail could be used for forward drop down grip.
no stock adaptor for the mossy in the works sorry.
only thing we have coming for the mossy is +2 mag tubes with and without bayonet mounts and short drill and tap M1913 spec scope mount rail.

"...supposed to take the gun apart and..." Yep. Take it apart and clean all the grease out. Use Varsol and a bunch of lint free rags.
