Glad you told me Dutch oven since i didn't buy' em yet & are for rifled only barrels. I guess I'll have to settle with regular Winchester slugs. The Grizzly is fine.

Accutips not available in 20 ga. yet.

Three inch ? Why bother ? 50 fps & 100 ft. lbs ... hardly worth it.
Miniscule improvement in trajectory ... + 0.2" ( less than 1/4") out to 100 yards, dead even @ 150, at the expense of more cost & recoil.

Think "Bambi" would ever notice the difference ???

If I have a 3" chamber that's what I like to shoot. ;) I know it's not much difference and minor in trajectory and energy at short ranges.....but it is like not having cheese on your cheese burger :D:D:D:D

I also shoot a lot further than 100 yards, the trajectory, speed and energy do all come into play. Bambi would not notice the difference definately, but I really don't care about Bambi's opinion. For me it is making the best and most accurate shot I can make resulting in a quick and clean kill.

Extra cost ? Some of my higher end slug guns are worth well over $1500.00, I am not going to worry about a couple bucks for ammo in ratio to initial firearms costs.

Recoil ??? The 12 gauge with either shell kick a lot less than the other stuff I have (and had).

No 20 gauge ??? OOpps, my bad, must have been thinking of the Federals at the time I typed the original post. It has been edited.
