Crushed ammunition in my Ruger

It doesn't fully eject and ends up crushed in between the bolt and the receiver, half still inside the gun and the other half sticking out, is this a perfect example of someone needing one of those aftermarket VQ exact edge extractors?

Before the extractor upgrade, this had happened a few times, when I still had a 10/22.

Used to happen in my 10\22. Problem seemed to solve itself.

Try different ammo my 10/22 and my Mark III pistol both seem anal about what ammo will work in them.

This problem seems familiar, but only the bottom of the casing BLEW open. I identified the problem in my 10/22, as being an upside down hammer strut washer (parts B18, B45). Ruger has lawyer proof 7 pound factory triggers, but don't make any mention of this simple re-assembly flaw.
