Best entry level semi auto

im looking into a semi auto shotgun in 12GA id like to shoot a bit of skeet and trap with it but i would also like to use it for hunting so whats everyones opinion on a good entry level semi shotgun?....

Try a mossberg 930. 3 interchagable chokes,magna-ported with a vent rib,synthetic stocks,2 3/4"-3" magnums and reasonably priced. Around $450.00 and change.Won't sell mine...ST...

i was also going to recommend a remington 11-87 , but i dont know how they hold up with target loads

Buy a good used Rem 1100 and be happy.

Excellent point, I would not want to carry an 11-87 grouse hunting all day, but goose hunting is a different story all together. You'll need to give a few more details before the best possible answer can be given.
