OK I went out today and bought one of these in .223 Rem. In fact it and the manual are still out in the truck.

Has anyone tried Remington's web site lately? I'm trying to figure out what the rate of twist is. Even when I sign up for their support I cannot ask a question only review answers to questions others have asked. Very frustrating.

Anyone have this tidbit of useful info?

You could possibly get up to 60 gr. or so in bullet weight. That covers the majority of .224 bullet selection. Yout only weak link is that you won't be using the heavier ones. Not a major issue if you aren't shooting in competitions or beyond 500 yards.

Get some 55gr. Hornady V-MAX's and Nosler BT's and go have some fun. Fast, accurate, and pure Hell on varmints. 40's & 50's are good to go too.
