Why?

Because I can.

Im starting to think about building a zombie lever rifle.

I have a 511 eotech with no gun to slap under it.


Im thinking about a marlin cowboy in 44mag
XS scout rail+eotech
Paint the wood black or OD green
Maybe even thread the barrel and put on a flash hider if possible.
Thoughts?

I'll tell ya right now......... If you build this "Zombie Lever Gun", all the tactical fondlers at school will be green with envy.

You should probably strip the wood, and spray it with truck bed liner prior to kryloning it ....... Oh wait , I think that was already done.

I suggest finding an original Winchester 1886 Take-Down Deluxe with highly figured wood. Look for a .40-70, .33 WCF or other rare bird. Strip the finish, both wood and stock then Krylon the whole thing black. Mount a Pictinny rail on both sides on the fore-end and drill the reciever both for scope mounts and on the sides for pressure release. Install a red dot sight up top, a laser on one side and an ubercool flashlight on the other side. Put on 3 swivel studs. 2 for a tactical sling with ammo carriers, and 1 for the bi-pod. If possible, yard off the original butt-stock and replace it with a telescoping model for an AR. Don't forget to install a ventelated hand gaurd on the barrel, too.

Don't forget the Big Loop lever!
 
Not bad not bad, most times you can effectively fire a lever the same speed at a semi auto.

You guys have huge caibers though nice. ill just use a 44mag.
