I wear glasses and looking for a small pocket size binocular just to play around with. Never bought any bincoculars before so this will be my first. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Swarovski, Zeiss, Leica all make a small/compact binocular that are excellent .. and should be for the money! They will last you a lifetime. If your pocket is a "little" larger and your pockebook a little smaller (like most of us) you should also have a look at the B&L custom compacts 7x26 (or Bushnell Custom compact 7x, 26 as I think they are branded now) ... they are a lot cheaper AND very good value.

FWIW I own the Trinovid 8x,20BCA. and I have looked through the Zeiss and Swarovski counterpart..... look at the Custom Compacts...

I went to the store and tried the Swarvoski 8x20 and Leica Ultravid 8x20. Still waiting to try a couple more but out of the two, I have found the Leica to be slight better in terms of focusing wheel. It is smoother and I found the Swarvoski is hard to focus.

Easier focus on a Leitz (Leica) product probably related to their 75
Plus years building premium optics and associated focusing mounts for
Their cameras

I bought a Pentax 8x42 years and years ago, they are great. I wish though that I had got the 8x32 which I feel are close to pocket size with great light gathering abilities. I spent months going between the two and compared them to other optics in their range.
