HAHA ODPL / IDPA / CDP handgun match Oct 19 (Sunday)

It’s that time of year - time to test your IDPA / ODPL / CDP handgun skills outdoors in the country setting of the Hamilton Angling and Hunting Association on October the 19th (Sunday).

This year, we’re putting the ‘D’ back in Defensive Pistol. Lots of short, sharp stages, and lots of backing up. You’ll be on the ground too - so dress accordingly. Plenty of reactive targets to speed things up - you either hit or miss, and only hits count. You will be shooting with concealment - no open holsters.

We shoot rain-or-shine and have large covered areas for setup.

Approximate round count: handgun 75. Bring 100 and you’ll have plenty.

Registration opens at 8:30, first-come-first-serve. Final registration will be at 13:00

The kitchen will be open - it is full service, with everything from bacon-and-eggs to pancakes to burgers.

Admission is $20. The registrar may ask to see credentials (eg., Black Badge or other ODPL-accepted holster certification).

Sorry Acrashb. Renovations means no bang bang for me. Hopefully done in time for the BRRC one in November.... So much ammo and no time to go shoot it.... Whaaaaa!

A big thanks to acrashb for putting on one hell of a shoot.
Looked pretty simple and even a little boring at first glance but turned out to be anything but.
Lots of shooting on the move and those damn expansion foam bottles gave me nightmares.
A challenging and humbling course of fire and more fun then a barrel of monkeys.
