TactiCOOL lever rifle.

My friends going to sell me his marlin 30 30

Ramline makes a syntetic stock for the 336 models, which Ill paint od green, slap on a scout rail with ghost ring sights, maybe a side cartidge holder, and ill see what comes of it.

Ill also be able to convert it back to its original form for all you debbie downers.

It must be just me, but somehow, 'TactiCOOL' and lever action are about as compatible as oil & water. An 870, perhaps, but a lever action??? :rolleyes:As Archie Bunker would say, "Help me lord"!

It is just you, the lever gun was the first real Tactical Rifle, speed, fire power, easy to use/load...in a world of single shots...am I missing something?. The guns pictured are wood stocked guns, with good optics, non restricted and they will not get any real attention from the 24/7 types...seems good to me.:D

No it's "NOT" just him.......

I'm building this right now:

That looks good. I like the rear site in particular. We all know lever actions are crap, but that looks good.
And (not joking), a full length rail would seem in order, I say keep the wood... green OD rather than black, and a different front.

Ignore the old ladies on here with thier false teeth and weak bladders, that thing is the best looking lever I have seen in ages :shotgun:

True enough. All rifles and/or styles of action have their day in the sun as 'tactical', granted. I don't mind the look of the one we're discussing but from a 'tactical' standpoint, it's day as such is long passed. I guess it's the 'teenie bopper' hero worship name designation of 'TACTICOOL' that really shines through.:dancingbanana: Help me Lord!!;)

And on that note, I just saw a panty liner commercial on TV where the announcer said, and I quote "Uber absorbancy"

Nothing goes better with the word tactical then uber. So does that mean nothing goes better with tactical lever rifle then uber panty liner? :D

If you're from Brokeback Mountain and the panty liner fits...........................

The picture is from Grizzly custom guns, I am in the process of collecting all the parts to do the build. Gun is obviously a Marlin 1895G, mine is 45-70 Govt. So far I have the WWG Trigger, extractor and magazine follower. The DRG loop is on order and should arrive soon. Rear sight is an LPA and my rail will be an XS Scout rail. The stock pouch is a Gould and Goodrich I believe. The install, barrel mods and load gate work, hammer shaping & safety mods will be done by Tactical Ordinance (Arwen Ace). The entire gun will be parked, then Teflon coated. Price will be whatever is on the invoice. Arwen Ace did my full load Shotgun for me, he's doing some 700 work right now and when the parts all arrive I will send him the GG...Casey's work is flawless.
