Just curious if anyone has any hands on feedback with the Rapid Z retical. I want to put one on my 300 ultra mag. I am thinking of the Rapid Z 800.

I've got one and it is the best ballistic-type reticle that I've tried. I am really impressed with it! I've got it on a 7mm.

I love the Rapid Z. I have the varmint which goes to 600 yards, and the 1000 yard one for my .308 rifles. I haven't had a chance to test them past 200 yards yet. Which is a shame. That being said they are right on at 200 after sighting them in for 100. So far looks good.

While I'm a fan of the MP-20 and have ordered a number of these on Falcon scopes. I prefer the Rapid Z reticules overall.

A couple of things to be aware of with the 1000 yard Rapid Z

1) with a 20 moa scope rail, you may run out of down moa to line up your 100 yard crosshair (It's the one at the top, not the centre)
2) when they bore sight your rifle most shops will sight it for the centre which is the 500 yard mark
3) when you lend it to a friend, they generally completely miss the first shot (Since they'll use the centre crosshair)

Ive ordered one. Is the top reticle the one to bore sight it into? Sight it into? How does it adjust for the ballistics of different bullets?

Depends which one you ordered but on the 600 and 800 the centre crosshair is zeroed at 200 yards. On the 1000 it 500 yards. Those are actual yardage marks on the hash marks. You adjust it for your load by adjusting the magnification. All the info is on the web site.

Ty I can't wait!

Google Pride Fowler scopes. They developed the reticle. I would love to buy one of their scopes but they don't ship to Canada:mad:. Dangertree, distributer?:D Their 22lr scopes are neat too!!

If you do a search for Carl Zeiss you can check the website. They list the models that are available with that reticle All of the models aren't available with all of the reticle choices
