I'm sorry about this post but I've searched and searched and it's hard to find anything about getting into the sport when i search the word "IPSC".
I'm new to the whole firearms scene and I've watched a few videos and would like to get into it.

Anyways, how does one start? And what kind of equipment would you guys recommend?

Contact a club in your area that does IPSC.
Offer to help out for a match.
Lets you learn all about it while making great contacts and friends.

Handgun, Holster, minimum 4 mags and pouches.

Edit: If you are an EESA member, PM Stormbringer about IPSC.

DA DA!!

Well if you have a Kimber (as in your sig line) you are good to go.

I have a 1911 holster around somewhere as well as mag pouches and single stack mags you can borrow to get started if you like.

Then you can come out to EESA IPSC night and try it out.

Then you can take a black badge course.........I hope to have one before Chirstmas at EESA.

That is it in a nutshell...........

Lots of info on the IPSC ontario site.

You can't go wrong with Stormbringer helping you out.

He is the IPSC rep. for EESA, and the club is right down the road from you. The man is even willing to loan you equipment for a try. Way to go Storm!!:dancingbanana:
