Hi everyone,

This pistol intrigues me and I would like to get owners to give me some feedback on it if possible. What kind of groups does it shoot?
Do you reload for it? Where did you get the dies? Do you just use the typical .224" bullets used for .223 caliber rifles?

Thanx

I'll save you some time: NOT. WORTH. IT.

There, you can thank me later...

What are you basing that on? Have you owned one?
I'm not really looking for opinions from people that have held one (I've done that much), I want to hear from current or former owners that have shot them and/or reloaded for them.

It costs as much as the down payment on my SUV and takes ultra premium to fill-up, If you can even find a steady source for the ammo.

It is expensive to buy, but not as much as you would pay for a high end Sig or HK actually.
This pistol (according to what I've read) is sending out bullets around 1900 fps and can be accurate out to 100 yards or more! That's why I created this post-- I want to know if this is actually true or not.
TSE has the ammo right now in stock, and if a guy could get a hold of some dies to reload you could load for it quite cheaply and easily since they use the same bullets as .223 rifles do. Buy 200 rounds of factory and then re-use the cases... for a long time depending on how hard the gun is on the brass.
Makes good sense to me.

I just got one not too long ago and it's very fun to shoot. I haven't been able to try it past 25 yards yet but hopefully soon. When I fired the first box of 50 out of it I only found 2 brass on the floor, the rest went downrange or somewhere else.

Big whoop if it is, you're not going to be shooting accurately out to that range, regardless of whether or not the firearm can do it.

Why bother with a fairly average pistol in a f*cked up calibre when you can get much better handguns in popular calibres? It just doesn't make much sense to me, but I suppose it's your choice and taste.

FN Five Seven Ammo...

Big Bass Pro store in Las Vegas, NV had ammo for these babies for around $21 per 50 box when I was there this past May....

Again I ask what you are basing this on? You've obviously never owned one, probably never even touched one. Have you researched them at all?
Special forces in Belgium, Poland and a couple of other countries are using them currently... so I guess they really must suck, eh?
This pistol is basically a .223 slowed down a bit, I don't know how you would say that's a "f*cked up caliber". If you mean uncommon caliber then yes I agree, but every caliber was uncommon at some point until adopted by the military, police or hunters.
How would you know at what distances I would be shooting it? If I took it down into the US I could legally hunt with it, and could conceivably shoot it at 100 yards or more while doing that.
If you don't actually know anything about the gun in question then why throw in your uninformed opinions like they're based on fact or experience?

How accurate do you find it to be at 25 yards? Comparable to say 9mm, .22LR or better? Is it easy to maintain? Any problems so far with it?
