Hello all !

Just want to hear what do you think about these rifles:

Number 1

cal: 9mmx39, silenced

Number 2

cal: 9mmx39, silenced

Is there any thing similar from other post soviet countries which we may import here ? :) Of course I am talking about NON SILENCED and SEMI AUTO versions

I just love how these toys look like.

Thank you for your opinions.

Looks like a pretty cool rifle. I wouldnt want it in 9 x 39 though. Id rather have it in .223, 7.62 x 25, 5.45x39 ( if we can even get it) or 7.62 x 39.

They're rare enough seen in photo opps - I'm guessing they're relatively rare there as well. Look interesting though. I knoticed the Vintorez in a russian sniper tv show a while back. Too bad they speak fricking fast or I would know more about it:rolleyes:

I am trying to find any looking alike rifle, but no luck so far. Looks like the only option is CZ 858 with different mags, stock and fake supressor on the barrel :)

the Vintorez is one of my personal dream guns. aka the "thread cutter", completely silent with superb lethality, penetrating a steel helmet at 300 meters and effective for kills out to 400 meters. not bad for subsonic, noiseless cartridges. fully disasembles into a special briefcase, holding the rifle and both a PSO-1 scope and a nightvision scope. it's apparently a very accurate rifle too... the silent ammo of course would be ever impossible to aquire... both of those guns were very secretly developed and used by KGB and such, not many around. I would very much like to emulate the stock of the vintorez for say, my 858 rifle.

These guns and the rounds they fire are optimized for silencers. Using them without silencers in Canada will make them less effective.

X2 for me!
One day I hope we get to live the dream!

I've been working on one for a bit and I know there are a few others that CGN members have done inspiring work on as well. Mine should be wrapped up in a few weeks after some final finishing and armour-coat in black....
