Kimber models differences

Looking at Kimbers for a potential hunting rifle.

Are the differences in Classic, Classic Select Grade and Super America cosmetic only?

Functionally they'll be the same, it's just how they are dressed up (you can get some nice wood on them).

Exactly the same, just the figure of the wood. I just sold my classic, mostly because the gun loved to hunt and I was always nervous of uglying it up.

I would have bought one in 257 Roberts, but decided not to based on the answer I got.

I don't usually buy new Rems either, but I did buy a new one last week which would be the first in about ten yrs.

I wouldn't be so concerned about it, but there is a fair bit of grumbling on some of the American sites about accuracy problems with Kimbers. Some are great shooters and some not. If I'm going to spend that kind of cash for a new rifle, I'd like a bit more reassurance from the maker.
