I've orded a couple of Boyd stocks directly from them. Why bother paying someone else to import them, plus mark up, when you can buy direct? Give them a call.

You can only order stocks from Boyds worth less than $100 internationally. The reason why there are importers in place is because it's the law. Strangely enough, there are people that don't just pick and choose the laws to which they will conform. The US Department of state has laws in place governing the exportation of firearms related parts, and the Canadian Government has agreed to abide by the mutual rules governing the issuance of the neccessary importation documentation. Conspiring to circumvent those laws is one thing, but counselling their contravention in a public forum is, well, you can insert your own adjective here. Best to make those recommendations in a PM and avoid the scorn of scum-sucking law-abiding legal importers such as myself.

Do I think those laws make sense? not a chance. But they are law nonetheless and I enjoy the priviledge of being granted access into and OVER the US. Maybe the new regime will be less xenophobic, but until that happens, the law is what it is.

Well technically he did not directly counsel him to commit an offense, maybe he just forgot to mention order directly from the US only if the item was under $100.
