It will fit the action 100% drop in, you may need to slightly alter the bottom metal and stock as the Jewel safety is slightly wider than the factory trigger.
The modifications are very minor and can be done with simple hand tools.
If you've got a digital camera, take a bunch of pictures of your rem trigger before you take it off, it'll help you remember how to put the bolt release back together with the jewell. After you've done it once, you'll remember from then on. If you've already done it before, disregard this post.
So D_ tell me ( some one who has thought about getting one but still has not) Is the trigger that much sweeter or crisp or what. Tell me / us what the difference is . Thanks
Noy really crisp. I have my IPSC pistol set up for 2lbs and its got some take up with a crisp go. My Jewell rates in at 1lb10oz every time within an oz. I get to come on the trigger and have enough weight to tell it to go when I want it to. Not very much travel required. Right out of the box and I'm very happy with it being just what I want in a rifle trigger.

tried a Jewell, it is REALLY TOUGH to shoot nothing but.
It blows my mind away HOW MANY people second guess spending the money on the Jewell.
Jewell is the present #1 trigger amongst the Shortrange BR shooters. Kelby's has there own trigger out but I do not think it has been 2 years yet. Those that have them are happy with them as well.
For the tac-style matches the lightest trigger allowed in a non open class is 2.5 pounds. At that weight, I didn't find the Jewell that much more desirable than a tuned 3 pound rem trigger, so I sold mine.
If you're going in for FClass shooting, I can see where the appeal would lie.
