it's only a 45acp- the recoil would be the same as your standard 45 auto , just over a shorter timeframe- full auto does NOT increase recoil, just you have less time to absorb it- if you increase recoil, you must increase the weight of your bullet, or your velocity, or both- it would be no worse than the mac 10 without the suppressor and the stock retracted- which i've done- granted, the group was man sized at 10 yards,but in terms of recoil, the same

This was a very cool Actual issue from springfield back in the day. If you have the license and it is legal to build where you are you can still find the blueprints online.
That thing would be a blast to shoot.

hence, the reason for the cia et al rejecting the m1911 as a sidearm and the development for the mac 10 - or so we're told- but i think ingram was on the payroll ( after all, it's a covert organisation, so anything flies)
