I just picked up a like new JR3 to replace my flimsy LEE presses. Feels solid as a rock and weighs a ton, I'm looking forward to trying her out! Are these known as "good" presses? Will only be used for .308win

You should be very happy with this press. I have had a JR for 26 years and it has never let me down loading .243, .270 and 30.06. I just picked up a Rockchucker but the JR will not be retired completely.

I have a couple of older Lee presses, and was really getting tired of the "loose" and "bendy" feeling of them. I found this used JR3 press at my local shop and was surprised at how well built and simple it was. I think I made myself a nice little purchase, this will become my main press now. :)

How much did you pay for yours anyways? I got mine for $90, thought it was a half decent deal.

when i bought my press:dancingbanana:..
i made a deal with forum member Doug..he made me up a package with all i would need to reload..
cant remember what i payed for all..but i know he gave me a smoking deal,i could not refuse..
mount that press on a good solid table, and you will reload for a lifetime with no problems with it
