Hello Everyone,

I just came back from Target Sport's Glock Day event. The place was packed with people and I had a really good time. I got to shoot a G31C and all I can say is "Wow". The .357 Sig really rocks. I'd really like to get one but it doesn't seem like it's a very popular calibre here. What experiences have people had with the .357 Sig? How hard is it to find ammo?
Thanks very much.

I had one for a while. Expensive to feed but it is a lot of fun to shoot. I ended up trading mine in on a varmint rifle as I would use it more. One hell of a fast caliber. The compensator made it really manageable to shoot as Im sure you found out. But I still think it is hard on the gun regardless.

Here was what I had

Your all a bunch of pussies with you compensated barrels. :)

Real men shoot these:

.357 Sig was kind of a pain in the ass to find. It has become more common over the last year I've noticed. Good luck finding any case lots for sale, I don't think they exist but you can find a box or two pretty well anywhere, at least in Calgary.

I own a .40 S & W Sig P229. Maybe I should just buy a aftermarket .357 Sig barrel. A lot cheaper than buying a whole new gun. I could shoot .357 Sig once in a while that way.

Does anyone know of (even) a single law enforcement agency in Canada using .357 Sig?

If we own the guns, they'll stock the ammo!! I'm always happy to see more people getting interested in the round for that very reason.

I found four boxes in a hunting/archery shop that was phasing out its handgun section, the owner was almost happier to get rid of it than I was to've found some! I've been reloadin' the shells ever since.

At 25cents per shot over 9mm I'm wondering whether to get a Sig .357 barrel for my 226 or just get a nice CZ75 in 9mm.

I'd spend the money on reloading equipment and an extra barrel :)
You don't want to shoot .357SIG if you are not reloading.
