got my first c&b revolver back in 74, and i've had maybe about a dozen balls through it- the rest were all cast bullets- there's a little brass mould 1 ball, 1 bullet that you can get that fits perfectly, also from italy- and with c&b you really need to make your own or buy soft lead balls - the average bullet is made from too hard a lead and won't grip the bullet hard enough to make it spin properly- finally make sure your SPRUE IS CENTERED ( that's the little stem left over from casting) in the chamber - or file it off- btw mine is a ruger old army and it takes a 457 diameter ball- it's a 451 bore, so i use 45 acp bullets in it( see how it matches the bore diameter) but that's just b/c i've got thousands of them for the 45 acp- so i get a little gas blow by, i don't care0 that's the fun of shooting b/p
