Help finding m14 square nut

I bought a USGI synth stock, and tried installing the butt plate from my norc onto it. Anyone know where I can get the top bolt and square nut from? Seems instead our friendly chinese decided to use some wacked out wood screw :)

Also, does anyone know of a canadian supplier for something like this

He wont ship to canada, but I am having a hard time believing its because this is a prohib item for us or something that cannot be exported .... is it?!
 
Hawk is the moderator on the m14firingline forum. Not sure why he wouldn't ship to Canada. Did you ask him? He is a pretty good guy from what I have seen.
 
i just bought a regular nut&bolt at home depot and jb welded (or use epoxy) the nut into the stock. make sure the thread area of the nut is clear of the epoxy and assemble the butt stock on. tight on the sling plate and then thread on the upper bolt a few turns to make sure everything lines up. let it set up. easy peasy.
