Choke markings

I am wondering what the tick marks mean on the end of some choke tubes.For example...an IGA with 3(III)notches on the end of the tube.I don't have a wrench to remove these as yet and would like to know what the choke of these are?

Im not too sure about themarkings you have on your IGA chokes, but my 20 ga IGA chokes have stars on them to indicate the tightness. 4 stars is IC and 3 is MOD I believe

This is how my Benelli is marked;
0 Notch= Extra Full
1 Notch= Full
2 Notches= Improved Modified
3 Notches = Modified
4 Notches= Improved Cylinder
5 Notches= Cylinder
