Excel cast Bullets

I bought these once from Le Baron's in Mississauga.

I'm not sure if I just got a bad batch but I thought the quality was terrible. The bullets were'nt round and the copper plate was inconsistent.

No one's got anything good to say about Excel bullets, but when I started reloading (9 months ago), my first bullet purchases were 500 .40cal 175gr LSWC and 500 .38 cal. 135gr LRN.

There was the odd goofy-looking bullet in the bunch, but overall they shot well, no complaints.

R and R bullets in Hamilton.

RandR bullets in Hamilton is casting lead bullets for sale.
Rick, at R&R is on the Hamilton mountain. His website is randrbullets@mountaincable.net.
Makes a decent bullet. I use his 155 cast SWC in 40 cal.
Has a ton of moulds and is a nice guy too. He makes the famous 125grain cast truncated cone 9mm bullet, and will soon have a very nice 130grain RN in 9mm.
He has a new catalogue out too. C$60.00 a thousand for most 9mm and 38 special bullets.

I am buying bullets from the new company in Hamilton that is talked about in the Action forums. (not R&R above)

Price is right.

Quality is EXCELLENT! Copper plated even.
