picked up a new tikka the other day I had been waiting for a 308 in stainless since May, but no luck so I got a 7mm. planned on useing it for this season and selling it to buy a 308 next year. I took it to sight it in today got 2" groups off shooting sticks had it diled in after 3 sets. thaught I would see what it would do just off my back pack laying prone and I put a 3 shot group through one tattered hole. I nearly *&%* my self. I was not expecting this from this gun or myself. I used to shoot quite a bit, but have not for the past 5 years or so. I had a rem model 7 and loved it. untill now.
needless to say I will not be selling this gun. just have to find another way to fund the 308.

I am one stoked guy with one ugly gun. but even the ugly guns need lovin

Everyone who knows anything knows that a .308 is a poo-poo cartridge, best saved for punching paper. You need the 7mm magnum for serious hunting - good choice :stirthepot2:

I have a tikka and a sako 7mm rem mag and am very happy with both.
