Marstar can sell you any part you want for their M14.

Would Garand Bolt part work in a M14S/M305 bolt.

The Garand ejector, extractor, their springs would work on a M14 bolt. This is not to say they are the same parts, but functionally, they will be fine.

The USGI M14 and M1 extractors are identical, other then being beveled (a armorer level modification to keep keep it from blowing out with the use of blanks.

Mind you the ejectors and their springs are not compatible.

These are the compatible parts.

  • butt swivel
  • lower butt plate screw
  • rear sight aperture
  • elevation knob and pinion (note that the M14 elevation knob is calibrated in meters, while the M1 Garand elevation knob is calibrated in yards)
  • rear sight base
  • sight cover
  • trigger (although the sear requires slight modification of the M14 sear for use in the M1 Garand rifle)
  • hammer
  • hammer spring
  • hammer spring plunger
  • hammer spring housing
  • safety
  • hammer pin
  • trigger pin
  • extractor
  • extractor spring
  • extractor spring plunger
  • hand guard band (as long as it has not been deformed during removal from the M14 rifle hand guard or the M1 Garand rifle rear hand guard)
  • and butt plates on certain M14 stocks.

Big thanks to Different for this list.

Dmitri is corrct the M1 ejector and spring is not the same and will not work.
The springs have different ID'sthe ejector plungers ar different ID's on the spring end and mind you the M1 spring is much shorter spring than the M14 eventhough thge bolt is longer . The plungers are different due to the angles in which the eject , the 14 ejector has more than 1 beveled surface .

My bad. The ejector bevel differences are easily noticed. I never did the swap for the ejector(extractor only, without the mod) and assumed incorrectly without checking.
