I will say again I haven't witnessed this deer with my own eyes but the source seems legit, I think we will know soon enough. He was shot outside of St Thomas Ontario with a bow earlier this week.

that is a great buck and st thomas is a great area for big deer .i have a budy that lives up that way and he has taken some real whoppers around that area as well as almyr ont

Nice size buck, but what an ugly snout!
If he were mine I'd only make minced meat with him. Steaks would be too tough from this guy.

:rolleyes:Whats wrong with a couple of pics first and then putting on the tag?

Anyways, thats incredible! Amazing looking buck. Good to know that they're out there and so close as well. :D

Great buck and I'm not trying to be the ethic police here but where's the frickin' tag????????

Tags here in Alberta look like a ski pass. A sticky tag, and a wire clip to put through a cut on the critter.

Usually they end up on one of the hind legs, around the tendon.

We don't tape up the antlers.

See http://www.albertaregulations.ca/huntingregs/ and pull down the menu under "Big Game Regs", and then "Tagging".

Cheers

In Ontario it goes thru a slit in the ear or around the antler.
