I am tired of my old RCBS case trimmer cause it gives me a sore finger/thumb and want to replace it.

I was looking at a Redding 2400 Trimming Lathe. Anyone have experience with it? Is it worth the $175 price tag?

If not what would you recommend and where can I get one? I trim several calibers: 17FB, 204, 223, 22-250, 243, 25-06.

I did do a search but found nothing on Redding. Thanks for any input/advice.

I have already extolled the virtues of my Forster - do a search. All you need is a drill press.

I considered the redding but after a lot of research went with the wilson/sinclair ultimate trimmer. I am very pleased with it. Accurate to within less that .001"

Try taking the crank handle off and using a 1/2 " drill on the shaft, works on mine, been triming like this on the same trimmer since 1982

you may want to have a look at the LEE ZIP TRIMMER (about $25)

For high volume precise trimming nothing currently manufactured touches the Giraud case trimmer. Each case is trimmed and chamfered in a single step by a carbide cutter, the case is indexed on the shoulder. Just Google Giraud Case Trimmer.
