Walther P-32

.... You're looking for logic and common sense in the "prohibited calibers" well, there really isn't any ! Regrettably, the 25ACP and 32 Calibers are commonly found in the "Saturday Night Specials" and yes I know that's far from an accurate description, particularly when you're actually referring to high end target pistols! But that seems the most plausible justification for "banning" the 32. The .25, simply, I guess because it's so small and very easily concealed . Yes I know the .22 Long Rifle cartridge is small etc. but it's commonly used in "Sporting type " Pistols and Rifles, whereas the 25 is not. .... David K

.... You're done either way ! In practical terms, both. If YOU"RE a bona fide Olympic Shooter then, maybe, you could find a little "wriggle room" for a Target (Olympic Class ) .32 , and then probably only if no other caliber was specified for the shooting class/discipline. It's been years since I've really played around with this stuff, so don't take what I've posted as being cast in stone, and the complete story ! But otherwise, SOL ! ..... David K.
