Was in a neigboring town today and decided to stop into the local gun shop there. Busy place! Anyways, thought that I would pick up some Winchester small pistol primers (as I am down to my last 1000 primer carton).

The price for a 1000 primer carton was $43.99. Is that the going rate now?
I will admit that last time I stocked up on these, was about a year ago and they were $30 a carton then.

So I guess what I want to know is, is what is the going reasonable rate these days for WSPP?

Yes prices went up on just about everything starting november 3rd... $43.99 seems a bit excessive... I am thinking they should be around $33

Good thing I bought a few cases from LeBaron of Small and Large at $23...

They went, 23, 25 and now 28 IIRC. If you paid $30 from the get go I don't think $43 is unreasonable for your gun shop...

Kind of off topic but who has Fed. small rifle match primers in stock??? Everyone west of Wpg. has none. Down to last 1000. Also seems 215's are short as well. Thanks, Mark

Actually winchester is the most expensive primers other then remington

CCI is the cheapest I have found followed by federal.

hmm, I've paid more for Federal, CCI and Remington than for Winchester... Come to think of it though, I buy Winchesters at a different shop than the others, could be they generally charge less.
