I wanna make em blow to pieces. I DON'T wanna shoot a pretty hole in em. Whats a good bullet to use. It will have to be on the light side cuz of the slow twist. I got some 30 g bergers but I don't think I'll get the cinematics I want with them.

The Hornady Vmax and Sierra Blitz King bullets are the most frangible. 32 gr will work very well, but for additional range or wind bucking, try the 39 gr SBK or the 40 gr Vmax. (The 39 gr is likely to shoot very well in a 1-in-12 twist). The Bergers are more solidly constructed than either of these.

I've shot quite a few gophers over the years and I don't think that the bullet makes a huge difference on how destructive it is on gophers. I've noticed that the position that the gopher is in makes more of a difference. They seem to blow up the best when they are crouching rather than standing up and scanning the horizon. My theory is that when they are crouching, it gives the bullet a little more to bite into. I think you'll be impressed with any of the bullets some of the guys have mentioned... V-Max, Ballistic Tip, Blitz King, etc.
