My Grizzly mag adapter came in the mail today. It took quite a bit of modifying to get it to work but I did eventually get it on. Once on, it feels very sturdy and strong.
I did find that both the adapter and the Grizzly scratch easily. I guess I'll have to paint them both in the near future. Since this is just a "fun" gun I'm not too worried about it right now.
One little nit pick is that the front part that holds the rail to the barrel has only one screw. It goes from one side, into the threads on the other side, which holds it together. I would have liked to have seen a short screw in the other hole just to finish it off. It might just be missing in mine, I'll email S&J about it. Otherwise I'll have to find a matching screw and cut it down. The hole is beveled which is why I figure a screw goes in there.

All in all it's a very cool adapter. I really like the look.

Parts I used:
AR15-870 CQB MKII from S&J Hardware
CBST Collapsible butt stock from Fabsports
RB-PGRP269B pistol grip also from Fabsports
C-More Railway red dot sight from a member of CGN

You can see the bare metal at the front of the adapter rail where I cut it down. I had to either cut the steel sight down or cut off about an inch of the rail. I decided on the rail because it's much easier to cut aluminum. I used a table saw with wood cutting blade. Cuts through aluminum like butter. You can also see where a screw should go in the beveled hole.

You can see where the pistol grip does not quite fit the adapter. At the top rear and at the front where your middle finger rests. At both sections I should be able to shave off some plastic so it fits closer. This might be because of a non standard AR15 pistol grip. I also had to grind off some aluminum where the safety is. I could not attach the adapter until I did.

Your gun looks really good.
I see you have one of the older top rails, we have changed it to a rail that will work with the cqb and the MESA tactical.
But anyways, our mk 2 rail was anodized with a non matt finish same for the adaptor, so re refinish the rail and adaptor with Matt black teflon armour cote.
We would refinish your rail for you for free if you would like just pay the shipping.
Our cqb mk 3 will be out in jan 09 with built in single point sling attachment, and mil spec type III matt finish on the rail and adaptor.

Not going to happen it a pump shotgun, why do you think we have been making parts like this, same reason CanAm got the shotguns in.
Owning guns as we know it would be over if they banned pump action shotguns.

Then we'd be like Australia... and would need you to build a CQB adaptor for the Norc 1887 clone that CanAm would inevitably have to bring in in response

I got it from armour cote in edmonton, about a year ago, a $500 order so i,m good for a while.
The guy was never easy to get ahold of so i made a big order.
I think TSE is a stocking dealer.
